Import sites
From a CSV export — nothing is saved until you review and confirm. Built for a multi-site programme where entering each site by hand in the design dashboard is not realistic. A bill of quantities is generated automatically for the project right after import.
Project
Every site belongs to one project — this is also which project the bill of quantities is generated for right after import.
No projects exist yet — create one first under Energy → Projects.
1. Paste a CSV, or upload an Excel file
Download templateRequired columns: Reference, Site Name, Country Code (2 letters), Customer Name, Location Label, Latitude, Longitude. Column order and exact capitalisation don't matter.
Everything else is optional. Leave the design columns (LoadKw, DailyOutageHours, BatteryChemistry and the rest) entirely blank for a bare site you'll design by hand later — or fill in ALL of them to have that site fully designed and saved automatically on import. Filling in some but not all is refused, since a half-specified design is not a real design. FixedSolarKwp and FixedGeneratorKva are independently optional either way — for a brownfield site with an already-installed array or generator.
An uploaded Excel file's first sheet is read with the exact same rules as the pasted CSV below — same required columns, same all-or-nothing design fields, same preview before anything is saved.
