- Add work centers — the machines, lines or stations where operations run, with their cost per hour.
- Create a bill of materials with its routing: the components it consumes and the operations at each work center.
- Add quality points (optional) — the inspections every order of a product must pass.
- Create a manufacturing order, or run planning to see what open sales orders need built.
