Rules every production order follows. Changing them needs production approval rights; the conversion cost account also needs accounting configuration rights.

Scrap alert above (%)When scrapped ÷ (good + scrapped) on a completed order is above this, the order's responsible person gets an activity to look into it.Quality checks must pass before an order can be completedPending checks, and failed checks not yet re-tested or conceded, block “Produce & close”. Turn off only if inspection happens outside Mizo.Consumption tolerance (%)A component consumed more than this far from plan is flagged on completion. It is a warning, never a block.Work center capacity check on confirmConfirming an order adds its routing time to each work center. When that plus the work already queued there is more than the center can do (hours per day × capacity) before the order's deadline, Mizo warns — or, on Block, refuses to confirm. Recording production and starting work on the shop floor are never blocked.Planning window without a deadline (days)For orders with no deadline or planned start, capacity is counted over this many calendar days from today.

Conversion cost account

Work-center time × cost per hour is added to the value of the finished stock only when this account is mapped. When an order is completed the entry is Dr Stock / Cr this account, so choose a contra-expense account such as “Production costs absorbed” that offsets the wages and overheads booked elsewhere. Without it, finished stock carries material cost only, and the time is still shown on each order for information.

A change applies to orders completed afterwards; completed orders keep the cost they were posted with.
